After reading and looking at what Sen. Ted Kennedy has done while he has been in a political office, I feel that we should all stop a moment and pay tribute. When someone affects people and outcomes for the better, the way that he did, it's an opportunity for each and every person here to reflect on themselves and see how each of us can contribute to the world around us in a positive, changing manner. He is another terrific example for all of us that remain behind to follow in our own lives.
So I ask each reader: What can you do? What is a positive action that you can do that involves turning around and seeing what can be done? We are fortunate that here in this valley, most of us already do such things, but I challenge those of you who are visiting and those of us who live here to do more, to feel more, to think more than the smaller picture that weaves our own life's web.
It takes all of us to change. One of my changes will be to pass no judgements upon those that are different than myself. Can you?
