What’s up with city trucks?
Ketchum has in the last year cut city jobs and moved its law enforcement over to the county. This may all be good on paper. I do have to wonder why there are three city-of-Ketchum trucks parked in Bellevue every night, and one more in Carey.
I have worked in Ketchum and do know the money involved with this monthly. It’s about $400 a month with tires, gas, oil, etc. With four trucks, that adds up to $1,600 a month or $19,200 a year. My thought is that city trucks are very expensive to purchase at $35,000 each, and why are they in Bellevue and Carey?
I shake my head every morning as I watch the tax dollars drive north.
