A successful Buyer's Luncheon and 4-H Market Animal Sale wrapped up five days of the 2009 Blaine County Fair Saturday, Aug. 8 at Blaine County Fairgrounds in Carey.

Grand marshals Don and Judy Atkinson presided over the fair. The Atkinsons shared their long and active history of supporting Blaine County 4-H programs and livestock sales.

Heading up the Market Animal Sale committee were Kristy Molyneux, Thelma Cameron, Tracy Green, and Jayne and Kenny Bailey. The sale ring crew included Joe Bennett, Craig Patterson, Larry Schoen, Lonny Barg and Kenny Bailey. This year's fair paid special tribute to Jim Boswell.

The auctioneer was Joe Bennett. This year's round robin champion was Taylor Castle of Carey.

Fair results will be published in a forthcoming edition of the Idaho Mountain Express.
