Elkhorn music is what we need

Hey, music fans. The Elkhorn Summer Concert Series is continuing on Thursday, Aug. 13, with Drive-By Truckers.

Great resort towns have many aspects that make them world class and successful. One aspect of every good resort town is a great live music scene. The Ketchum and Sun Valley music scene has been on the decline over the past few years, even before we lost Whiskey Jacques' to fire. Many of our local businesses have been doing what they can to fill the void by featuring local and regional talent. The promoters of the Elkhorn Summer Concert series are doing their part by bringing incredible national talents to our community.

We need to support live music in the valley if we expect bands and promoters to consistently bring music to the valley. Get your tickets in advance, tell your friends and tell visitors about the opportunity to catch these great shows.
