Minnick should join GOP

Your "Our View" column in the Aug. 7 edition regarding Rep. Walt Minnick was right on. If it talks like a Republican and votes like a Republican, we think he should be treated like a Republican. Wouldn't we be better off if Distrtict 1 elected a Republican? Then we Democrats would know what we were dealing with without ideological disguises and misleading labels. We did donate to his last campaign, but not again.
