Cordovano remains in critical condition

A well-known Blaine County man who was injured in a motorcycle accident last week remained in critical condition Thursday at Saint Alponsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Greg Cordovano, a 63-year-old mid-valley resident, was flown by emergency helicopter to the hospital last Friday evening following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on state Highway 75 near its intersection with Deer Creek Road north of Hailey.

Cordovano suffered a head injury. He was wearing a helmet but it came off during the accident.

Cordovano is well known in the Wood River Valley as a craftsman who restores and repairs rare antique furniture.

His family declined Thursday to release further information regarding his condition.

Police have not specified a cause for the crash.
