RECENT RESULTS

Principal Recruiting/Group Six 17, Casino 10

Principal came out swinging, posting 10 runs in the first two innings for their fourth straight win to force a three-way tie for second by bringing their record to 4-2. Principal: Kevin Garceau 3 hits (2 doubles) 2 runs, Tom Moreland 2 hits and 4 runs, Geoff Gardner 2 hits and 2 runs, Sue Mulcahy and Sharon Payne (double) 2 hits and 2 runs apiece, Kellee Havens 2 hits and 3 runs. Casino: Wade Port 4 hits and 2 runs, Nic Nottingham 2 hits (HR), Sarah Jones and Lisa Vadalma hit and run each.

Color Haus 10, Lefty's Bar & Grill 9

The entire Color Haus lineup contributed to squeak past Lefty's by one run to go undefeated in the regular season for the second straight summer. Lefty's out-hit Color Haus 20-15, but stranded twice as many runners (12-6), including two in the final inning, coming within a single hit of tying the game. Color Haus: John Rathfon 2 hits (HR, double) and 2 runs, Jeff Schroeder 2 hits (triple, double) 2 runs, Twyla Bulcher 1 hit and 3 RBI, Josh Jacobson HR and 3 RBI. Lefty's: Kyle Rushton 2 hits (double), 3 runs and an RBI, Chris Warrington 3 hits and 1 HR, Wendy Speth 3 hits, 1 run and 1 RBI.

Magpie's 11, Elevate/Stafftopia 4

Elevate finished a tough regular season with their sixth loss of the summer, falling to a scrappy Magpie's team led by Sean Harrington, who went 5-for-5 with a HR and two doubles, the homer coming in a decisive seven-run seventh Magpie's: Danny Maloney 3 hits (inside-the-park HR, double), Annie Byerley 3 hits (double) and 2 runs, Molly Jones 2 hits and 2 runs. Elevate: Cooper Minnis 2 runs, triple and double, Emily Schyder hit and run.
