Lefty's (35 hits) scored in bunches and wrapped up its day with an 11-run, 12-hit fifth for a 28-2 lead. Lefty's: Tony Mallane 3 hits (double) and 3 runs, Chris Warrington 3 hits (2 HR), 3 runs and 3 RBI, Emilia Parazo and Ashley Dean 2 hits and 2 runs apiece, Bryan Speth 3 hits, Wendy Speth 4 hits (HR, 2 doubles) and 3 runs, Buffalo Rixon 3 hits (2 doubles) and 2 runs, Brenda Blackwell 3 hits and 2 runs, Anthony Anderson 2 doubles, triple and 3 runs. Elevate: Dirk Zondag double, Nicole Hamm 2-run single.

Color Haus 20, Casino 8

Color Haus (27 hits) dominated the battle of the league's unbeaten teams by shutting down Casino in three of the first four innings while building an 11-0 lead. The third inning was the backbreaker, Jeff Schroeder (3 hits, triple, 2 runs) belting a grand slam HR in a 6-run, 7-hit frame. Color Haus: Bryan Burrell 2 doubles, triple and 2 runs, Jeff Burrell 4 hits (triple, double) and 2 runs, Josh Jacobson 4 hits (2 doubles) and 2 runs, Bonnie Burrell 4 hits and 2 runs, Eric Demment and Shannon Webb (2 runs) 2 hits apiece. Casino: Wade Port 2 hits and 2 runs, Nick Noty HR, Craig Morse triple, Matt Kendrick and Kristin Derrick 2 hits each.

Principal Recruiting/Group Six 16, Magpie's 11

In a back-and-forth battle, Principal led 4-0 after the first with Kevin Garceau (3 hits, 4 RBI) drilling a 2-run single, but Magpie's bounced back for a 7-5 lead with a 4-run, 5-hit third as Danny Maloney ripped a 2-run triple. Principal answered with a 5-run, 7-hit fourth for a 10-7 lead and added 5 runs in the sixth. Principal: Geoff Gardner 2 hits (double), Kellee Havens 4 hits (HR) and 3 runs, Rod Watson 3 doubles and 3 runs, Jim Carlsen 2 hits (double), 2 runs and 2 RBI, Chad Pringle 3 doubles, 2 runs and 3 RBI. Magpie's: Trey Knox 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Sean Harrington and Lenny Joseph 2 hits apiece.

Lefty's Bar & Grill 19, Firefighters 6

Hot-hitting Lefty's opened its 47-run, 55-hit doubleheader evening by hosing down the Firefighters led by clean-up hitter Wendy Speth (4 hits, triple, double, 4 runs) and #5 batter Anthony Anderson 4 hits (double). Lefty's: Kyle Rushton 3 hits (2 doubles) and 3 runs, Jamie Trevino 2 doubles and 3 runs, Nicole Buckwalter hits, Brenda Blackwell 2 runs. Firefighters: Keith Potter 3 hits, Matt Christian 2 hits (triple), Karly Maratea, Chris Ward and Tyler Corrock 2 hits each, John Craig 2 hits (double).
