Learning The Proper Touch, Putt By Putt



Tyler Spence coaxes a putt closer to the hole June 26 at Bigwood Golf Course/Thunder Spring north of Ketchum during the sixth annual Chuck Gates Junior Golf Tournament. Spence was one of 20 junior golfers in the one-day tournament presented by the Ketchum Parks & Recreation Department, Chuck Gates Youth Golf Endowment, the Suns Foundation and Bigwood Golf Course. Top results were: Group A (9 holes): Crockett Stearns, 39; Group B (6 holes): Ricky Jeneson, 27; Group C (5 holes): Eron Bates, 33; Group D (4 holes): Joey Reidy, 24; Group E (3 holes): Haley Cutler, 18.
