Symphony Launches Young Patrons Club

Express photo by Sabina Dana Plasse Members of the Wood River High School men’s singing group the B-Tones perform with R.L. Rowsey on piano for the Sun Valley Summer Symphony’s new Crescendo Club. The club is a new organization formed for people “young at heart” who want to make the most out of the annual symphony. Its first meeting was at the home of Todd and Shannon Conklin on Wednesday, June 24, with more than 20 people in attendance. Interested people under 50 are encouraged to join the club with an annual donation of $50. Members will receive invitations to pre-and post-event cocktail parties, wine tastings with the musicians, pre-and post-concert “tailgates” on the lawn, pre-rehearsal luncheons and invitations to private musical performances. For details, call 622-5607 or visit svsummersymphony.org.
