County Welcomes New Administrator


Blaine County Commissioners welcomed Derek Voss to his new job as Blaine County Administrator during their regular meeting Tuesday. Voss, hired to replace former administrator Mike McNees, immediately assumed his duties during the morning meeting. The former director of administrator services and chief risk officer for Ada County will earn $120,000 per year in his new position. Voss said he was “thrilled” to be working in Blaine County. “Already it feels home to me,” he said. Voss said he’s entering the job with an open mind. “My goal will be to be a good listener,” he said.
