Galena Lodge opens for summer

The seventh annual Galena and the Trails summer benefit barbecue and the lodge's opening day will take place Saturday, June 13, from 12-3 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Daily lunch service will begin Monday, June 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays and 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekends. Bruce Innes will play music Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Galena Lodge is 23 miles north of Ketchum off state Highway 75. For details call 726-4010.

Library continues Smithsonian exhibit

Marilyn Angel Wynn, an American Indian photographer, will present a slide show at the Community Library in Ketchum on the Shoshone Bannock tribe, who made their summer home in the Wood River Valley. The free presentation will take place on Thursday, July 11, at 6 p.m. For details call 726-3493.

Sawtooth Relay hits the ground running

The 18th annual Sawtooth Relay will take place Saturday, June 13. The 62-mile race begins at Stanley's elementary school and finishes at Atkinson Park in Ketchum. For details call (208) 853-1221.
