Jimmy’s Garden Ready For Visitors

The finishing touches were recently put on “Jimmy’s Garden,” a pocket park at the corner of Second Avenue and Croy Street in Hailey. The park, complete with water fountains, a climbing wall, benches and trees, was named in honor of Jimmy Gelsky, who passed away in 2002. Gelsky lived in the large white house that used to stand at the site of the new park. Here, Hailey residents Chris and Phoebe Pilaro, left, who own the two city lots where Jimmy's Garden is located, celebrate the park’s opening. Express photo by Willy Cook
