DIY Paddlers Gather At Hulen Pond

Paddling hard in the maiden voyage of “The Mighty Beast” is Community School 4th grader Peter Wolter in the Hulen Meadows pond. The boat-building project was part of a class project with teacher Trent Herbst. Students formed teams of three and spent the last month building boats from scratch.
