Public invited to school budget workshop

Event set for Tuesday, June 2, in Hailey

The board of trustees of the Blaine School District has invited the public to a budget workshop Tuesday, June 2, at the school district office at 118 West Bullion St. in Hailey. The workshop is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.

A school district press release states that District Business Manager Mike Chatterton will "explain all aspects" of the proposed budget and answer questions from the public and the school board.

The school district has proposed a $74 million budget for the 2009-2010 school year.
