Legislative failings

It is time the voters of Idaho stop voting by party and make their choice according to how well the elected official followed the will of the people. The Senate sided with the governor in his efforts to add increased taxes to people of Idaho at a time when few people can afford it.

Many members of the Legislature care more about businesses and farmers than protecting Idaho's legal workers, passing laws that will pad their pockets by not requiring the E-Verify computer program to check the immigration status of prospective employees. In addition, they protected employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants as they will not face a suspension or possible revocation of their state, county or city licenses.

It will be months till changes to this lackluster group can be made. Remember what this Legislature did to us and what they did not do for us next election. It would be best for us to send a whole new group to Boise as soon as possible.
