After careful consideration of the three candidates running for the Blaine County School District board representing Zone 2, we wholeheartedly endorse Jim Laski. Through his work on numerous district subcommittees, Jim has demonstrated his ability to use his legal talents and passion for education to get results that serve the common interest of our children.

With real challenges ahead of the school board, such as funding reductions and an increasingly diverse student body with many needs, Jim Laski has the intelligence, discipline and willingness to listen to the concerns of parents, students, teachers and administrators that we clearly need in these troubled times. As the father of two young children, his highest priority is ensuring that our schools are the best they can possibly be for the years to come. Jim will be an excellent advocate for the unique concerns of his Zone 2 constituents.
