A Bates believer

Thoughtful, engaged, considerate and dedicated describes my friend Paul Bates, whom I believe will make an excellent Blaine County School Board member. Paul is in the process of raising two kids in the public school system and throughout their academic careers has been a stalwart and engaged volunteer. As vice-president of the PTA for the last two years, Paul's caring goes beyond his own children to all the students in the valley. When I asked him why he wants to be a part of the school board, Paul stated, "An excellent curriculum gives our children the best opportunity to succeed and as a member of the school board I would work tirelessly to achieve this. The public and educators in the valley are powerful assets in the process and their engagement is very important to me."

I urge you to vote for Paul Bates for the Zone 4 school board seat on May 19. It will no doubt be a vote of confidence in our children's future.
