No idling, please

We moved here last September for reasons that bring many to this valley: the gorgeous outdoor environment. It was disturbing to see a driver of a car arrive at a business, exit the vehicle and enter the building, leaving the vehicle running. I waited several minutes to see if it was a dash in/out situation. No, the car just sat there, motor running, fouling the air with emissions and noise. Still, there was no sight of the driver. I opened the door and turned the engine off. I waited several more minutes. Still no driver. I got on my bike and finished my commute. Please: If you must drive, don't leave your car running, fouling the air for no reason.
