Those who attended the Wood River Community Orchestra's concert at the Sun Valley Opera House on Sunday afternoon were in for a real treat. The free event was the orchestra's second annual concert and was composed of works from Mozart, Mahler and the Beatles.
The director, Andy Lewis, has brought together musicians from the community that would amaze you. There are beginners and lifelong musicians playing. There are performers from teenage years all the way through to their 80s. All have a desire to play and enjoy music.
I would encourage any and all who have that desire to come and join the Wood River Community Orchestra, and the rest of you to keep in touch so you can come and enjoy our performances.
