Warriors post first win 8-3 over Borah

Lacrosse victory


Two days after getting schooled by Bishop Kelly 18-0, the host Wood River Warriors lacrosse team collected its first win of the 2009 season, 8-3 over Borah of Boise on Saturday.

Luke McNees and David Dredge each scored three goals to go with singles by Tracy Bailet (2 assists) and Tanner Marcoulier. Sharing the netminder load were Dredge (2 saves) and Kasey Barker (3).

Thursday, April 16 at 6 p.m., WR hosts Eagle at Mountain Home. Saturday, April 18 at 11 a.m., Skyview hosts WR in Nampa. Tuesday, April 21 at 6 p.m., WR hosts Meridian in Mountain Home. Saturday, April 25 at 2 p.m., WR hosts Capital of Boise in Hailey.
