Whiskey’s site still up for grabs

The Main Street lot that once housed popular Ketchum nightspot Whiskey Jacques’ remains vacant more than six months after a fire that began in the neighboring former Dirty Little Roddy’s bar destroyed both buildings. Whiskey’s owner Karin Martin said that by the end of next week she will likely make the decision on whether to rebuild this spring or wait another year. If she decides to wait, Martin said, she might make a temporary park on the lot. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined and is still under investigation in the Idaho State Police forensic crime laboratory in Pocatello.
