Riders make grade for Copper trip

USASA Nationals April 5-10

The Sun Valley Snowboard Team is sending 11 riders to U.S.A. Snowboarding Association (USASA) Nationals April 5-10 at Copper Mt., Co., according to SVST program director Andy Gilbert.

Gilbert said, "This is a large percentage of our competitive team riders making the field out of a very tough Intermountain Division. We are looking forward to a great week at Copper!"

Qualifiers and their events (halfpipe/HP, slopestyle/SS and boardercross/BX) are:

Chase Josey (HP/SS/BX); Ali Appleton (HP); Hailey Rheinschild (HP); Cary Reinemann (HP); Mal Prior (HP/SS); JJ Martin (HP/SS); Kenny Ballou (HP/SS); Ross Bird (HP); Josie Bunce (SS); Sam Strong (BX); and Ryan Roemer (BX).
