Bellevue resident Angela Burt took a chance on the last remaining "Play Can't Wait" lottery ticket in a dispenser at Guffy's convenience store on Main Street in Bellevue last week, where she works as a clerk.

This week she is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Idaho Lottery by spending proceeds from the winning $200,000 ticket.

"I bought a new car and rented a new house," said Burt, who is a mother of two.

"At the end of the summer we are moving to Oregon. I am also putting money away for my kid's college."

According to Burt the final take from the winning ticket will be $143,000 after taxes.

A press release from the Idaho Lottery stated that Guffy's would receive a "bonus" of $20,000 for selling the winning ticket. However, Guffy's owner Martin Chandler said he has been informed that after taxes and "handling fees," he will receive only $6,000.

Chandler has seen a few lottery winners come through his doors. In 2005, Fred Anderson won $100,000 from a Powerball ticket bought at Guffy's. In 2007, Sherie Taylor won $10,000 from a Hot Tamales ticket purchased at the store.
