County fair hunts for input

The Blaine County Fair Board is looking for ideas and input to help improve the Blaine County Fair. The 2009 fair will be held August 3 through 8 at the fairgrounds in Carey.

The fair board is hoping to get more open entries in the fair building and have more vendors and booths for visitors. In addition, they're looking for new activities for children.

Last but not least, the board is always looking for volunteers. For information on any of these projects, contact the Blaine County Fair Board at blainecofair@co.blaine.id.us or by mail at P.O. Box 3105, Hailey, Idaho 83333, or go through the Blaine County Web site at blainecounty.org

The fair board meetings are open to the public and are held in both Hailey and Carey. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. For meeting locations, consult the Web site.
