Merger is a takeover

People of Sun Valley, your chosen denial regarding Ketchum's attempt at a hostile takeover of Sun Valley is sad. People that I have talked to are in denial, thinking it is a joke and not taking it seriously. This is a mistake. If you do not vote against it, you will wake up the morning after the election and find that Sun Valley no longer exists, that it has been by state law automatically renamed Ketchum, and that all Sun Valley ordinances are null and void, replaced by Ketchum's.

The Ketchum City Council will of course vote to reinstate the Sun Valley name so they can live off its taxes. Do not believe me? Check Idaho Code Title 50, Municipal Corporations, Chapter 21, Consilidations of Cities 50-2112. Do so, because the Ketchum usurpers have done so. The population difference gives Ketchum three votes for every Sun Valley vote.

Sun Valleyites, wake-up! Vote no to signing the falsely named "merger"—it is in truth a hostile takeover of Sun Valley, aimed to subjugate the Sun Valley tax base to pay for the sociopathically dreamy "Ketchum Renaissance."

Sun Valleyites: Unite in voting no!
