Galena Benefit Shines for Another Year

Long-time cohorts in the success of the annual Galena Benefit, Jenny Busdon and Elephant’s Perch co-owner Bob Rosso bask in the happy gathering at the Limelight Room on Saturday. “I knew due to the challenging times that people would definitely be tightening their belts, but we were thrilled that we had such great support from nearly 400 people,” Busdon said. “Perhaps most important was the fact that everyone enjoyed themselves and that each year at this benefit we are able to tell the story of this wonderful asset we have in this valley. We raised around $130,000 and we are thrilled.” The funds raised will help by the Blaine Country Recreation District run Galena Lodge and maintain the North Valley trails.
