Ann T. Cotton, 70, died at her home in Tulsa after a long illness on Dec. 21, 2008.
Ann, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and student of English history, was an avid traveler who loved spending time exploring far-off destinations with her husband, Doyle W. Cotton, Jr.
Ann is survived by her husband, Doyle; her son, John Boydston and wife, Cory, their two children, Jake and Max, of Atlanta, Ga.; and her daughter, Terry Hartzler and husband, Carl, and their children, Becky and Alison, of Valencia, Calif. She loved being Grammy to her grandchildren. Ann was also survived by her brother, Paul Treadway, and his wife, Betty, of Enid, Okla. Ann had two step-daughters, Allison Cotton of Tulsa, Okla., and Leigh Cotton Pops and her husband, Richard, of Wellesley, Mass., and their children, John and Anna.
A memorial service was held for the immediate family. The family request donations be made in lieu of flowers in her memory to the Philbrook Museum or Meals On Wheels in Tulsa, and from her many friends in Idaho to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center in Ketchum.
