Galena gets new plowman

     The Idaho Transportation Department is adding a new snow plowman to the Galena Summit area.

     ITD District Engineer Devin Rigby said the new position was made possible by a reshuffling of job positions statewide. A new plowman was also added for the Sublett area in Cassia County.

     “Both areas are consistently among our busiest areas for snow removal activities,” Rigby said. “These positions allow us to improve our effort to improve safety, reduce accidents and address the concerns of our traveling public going to these destinations.”
