The Eagle Has Landed


Artist Jason Waldron, who resides in Hollywood, Calif., left the glitter and fancy clothes of the big city behind for a while in favor of wearing Sun Valley ice shavings. Waldron craftily transformed a solid block of ice into a beautiful eagle near the Sun Valley Inn on Saturday evening in front of a good-sized crowd that had assembled for the Sun Valley Luminary Festival. Carolers also entertained the spectators who watched the Sun Valley tree lighting ceremony while drinking hot chocolate and eating frigid cookies
