It's a Groundswell of Art

Express photo by David N. Seelig Local artists Janit Karrys and Anne Aganon begin to sketch the “Winter Wonderland” mural on Main Street in Ketchum on Thursday, Dec. 11, at the former site of Whiskey Jacques’ and Dirty Little Roddy’s. The mural project is to help beautify Main Street while construction is pending. The Sawtooth Club, the Roosevelt Grille, Engelmann Construction, Webb Landscape, Bob Kantor, John Sofro, and George Kirk have all contributed to construction of a plywood fence and the planting of trees along the sidewalk between the Sawtooth Club and Sotheby's Real Estate office. The mural will be painted on Saturday, Dec.13, from 12-5 p.m.
