Ann L. Barry


Ann Barry passed away Sat., Nov. 29, 2008, at Blaine Manor in Hailey, Idaho.

Ann was born on March 28, 1923, to Joseph and Louise Weinman in New York.

She met her husband, Jim Barry, and they married during World War II. They moved to Glenrock, N.J., and had their two daughters, Susie and Mo. Next the family moved to Walnut Creek, Calif., where Ann enjoyed eight wonderful years with friends and family.

In 1966 the family moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where Ann and Jim ran their office products business, Tab Products. They retired in 1978 to travel throughout the United States and Europe in their motor home.

In 1981, her daughter Susie and son-in-law Chris Ackel had the family's first grandchild, Natalie, to be followed by Matthew in 1984 and Kathleen in 1987. For the past five years Ann lived in Hailey with her daughter Mo Barry and Julio Chavez.

Ann was the best example of a mother and grandmother anyone could have asked for. Her kind-hearted spirit will be missed by all those she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of the Wood River Valley, Box 4320, Ketchum, ID 83340 op Blaine Manor, 706 S. Main St., Hailey, ID 83333.

Cremation was under the care of Wood River Chapel of Hailey. Friends may leave condolences at www.woodriverchapel.com.
