Where Thanks Are More Than Just Gravy


At Zaney’s Coffee House in Hailey, owner Sue Martin attaches another note onto her “What Am I Thankful For” board. Started by Martin and employee Emily Andrews as a whim, the board took on a life of its own within days. A sampling of notes reads: “I am thankful for you and you are thankful for me—Cheers.” “My beautiful life!” “I am thankful for my family and my horses, Silver Bell and everyone in it. I love Leopold and Rocky and every horse in the world.” And in a very young hand is written, “I am thankful for friends, family, food, pets and rodeos.”
