Local swimmer Forrest Davis, 14, brought home five gold medals from the 2008 Boise Y Thanksgiving Invitational swim meet Nov. 21-23.
He was joined atop the podium by teammate Kaedi Fry, 11, who earned three golds and four silvers.
The pair led a strong contingent of 13 SV5B swimmers who competed against 500-plus athletes in the 40th annual meet featuring swimmers from Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Montana, Utah, Arizona, and Boise State University.
SV5B athletes slashed times and had great swims in the debut of the short course season.
