Charles E. Claflin

Charles E. Claflin, 78, of Green Valley, Ariz., and formerly of Rockford, Idaho, died Nov. 15, 2008.

He was affiliated with the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association and the Professional Ski Instructors of America.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda J. Claflin, and was preceded in death by Roberta K. Claflin (Cornish). Surviving children are Todd F. Claflin (Carlene), Bruce M. Claflin (Christa), Charles E. Claflin Jr. (Bev), Amy M. Zagroba (Kevin), Matt C. Claflin (Veronica) and Jay A. Bys (Cathy). Also surviving him are 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Marcia Hall (Dutch), and Mary Telford.

Memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
