Marie Huntsman

Marie was born Sept. 27, 1946, to Donald and Jennie Dixon of Hailey, Idaho. She was the second of six children (Barbara, Larry, Bonnie, Connie and Alan). Marie stayed in the Wood River Valley her whole life and she married James Lowell Huntsman of Missouri in April 1969. Together they had two sons, Lowell of Bellevue, and Mike (Sonja) of Hailey with their children, twins, Hank and Alyssa. Marie was survived by her whole family except for her father and husband.

Marie touched the lives of many here in the valley. She was dedicated to her family and took pride in her work. One of her great passions was golf and was always enthusiastic on the courses she played. Another great joy in her life was the arrival of her twin grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her uncanny wit and sense of humor.

Services will be at the LDS Church in Hailey on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m.
