NOTES—The Great Basin West 4th District (WR, Jerome, Burley, Minico) gets 1.5 berths in the State 4A tournament—meaning the league champion automatically goes to state, but the runner-up team must win state play-in games against 5th and 6th District teams to advance to state. The league tournament is high seed hosts, match-ups #1 vs. #4 and #2 vs. #3..... Tiebreakers in the event of ties in the District 4 league go to overall record and then to common records against Great Basin Conference opponents.......In opening-round state match-ups at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, the 4th/5th District champion plays the District 3 (Boise-area) third-place team; the 4th/5th District runner-up goes against the District 6 (Idaho Falls area) champion; while the winner of the 4-5C vs. 6B play-in clashes with the District 3 champion.....Booster athletic season tickets for all Wood River sporting events during the 2008-09 school year are available. They are $100 for a couples pass, $75 for an individual season pass and $35 for a middle school student pass. Drop by the high school and see activities director John Rade.
