Trudy Whaley, age 48, died on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at her home in Hailey, Idaho.
She was born Sept. 7, 1960, in Twin Falls, Idaho, the child of Robert and Dee Olin. Trudy grew up in Kimberly and graduated from Kimberly High School. She moved to Oregon for 10 years and then returned to the Twin Falls area. She has lived in the Wood River Valley for the past four-and-a-half years. Trudy worked at Obenchain Insurance.
She loved football games and watching her son play. Trudy loved her surroundings.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff; her children, Ashley (Aaron) Alloway, Megan Fuller and Walker Whaley; her step-son Brandon Whaley; her sisters Linda (Ken) Morris and Ann (Brian) Colman; her brother Curtis Robert Olin; and her mother; Dee Olin. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Heppie and Mimmie Hepler; Jay and Nellie Olin; and her father, Robert Olin.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Valley of Peace Lutheran Church. Internment will follow in the Hailey Cemetery.
