Nearly time to tune

The beginning of the week brought with it the first significant snowfall of the season, blanketing Bald Mountain and fostering anticipation of another ski season. With more snow showers and cold weather predicted for the remainder of the week, it’s possible that Baldy’s snow guns could begin their annual assault on the runs. Sun Valley Co. Marketing Director Jack Sibbach said the guns were recently tested and are ready to be fired up once a consistent cold front arrives. Express photo by Willy Cook
