Keep Hailey's impact fees

Hailey residents, please remember to vote on the two city referendums that are not on the county ballot. We are being asked to repeal development impact fees and business permit fees. Please vote no on both. We taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for the impacts of new development or for business costs. Development should pay for itself.

The impact fees were implemented after very carefully following Idaho law, including public hearings. The nominal fee for a business permit doesn't even cover the actual inspection costs. We need to keep our impact fees and business permit fees in order to maintain our current levels of service.
