Walk This Way, Soon

The Idaho Mountain Express office, located on First Avenue in Ketchum, remains open while workers from Burks Excavation tear up the street as part of a Safe Routes to School project that will result in 10-foot sidewalks along the west side of the two blocks between Fifth and Sixth streets. The project, mostly funded by a $100,000 grant from the Idaho Department of Transportation, is aimed at giving children a safer path from Fourth Street to Hemingway Elementary School and should be completed near the end of the month.
