Toys For Tots

According to event organizer Mike Kelly, the 16th annual Toy Run on Saturday, Oct. 4, was a great success. Fifty-four motorcycles braved cold, snowy weather and traveled from Grumpy’s Tavern in Ketchum to Bandidas Bar and Grill in Hailey where they dropped off 226 toys for children of needy Blaine County families. The procession then continued south to Bellevue and a barbeque at the Silver Dollar Saloon where The Kim Stocking Band and Slow Children Playing performed. Kelly also reported that about $7,000 in cash was raised to buy more toys and holiday food baskets.
