Vote for Wendy

I am writing in support of Wendy Jaquet's re-election to the Idaho House of Representatives. I lived in Shoshone in 1994 and remember when Wendy was elected to serve Gooding, Lincoln, Camas, and Blaine counties. That was a great day for Democrats and it was also a great day for women in Idaho.

In 1998 Wendy was elected House Minority Leader. Wendy is respected by both sides of the aisle for her leadership, responsiveness, dedication, and hard work.

I recently contacted Magic Valley legislators regarding legislation proposed by the State Department of Administration regarding State of Idaho's retiree's health insurance. Wendy responded to my letter and explained the actions of the legislature this last session. When the Idaho Department of Administration conducted a recent meeting in Gooding to explain to retirees why it no longer wants to carry retirees on its group plan, I am so grateful that Wendy was there. Wendy asked good questions and provided accurate information to all of us, including the department, because she really cares.
