The phoenix’s ashes


Workers on Wednesday removed the charred remains that once made Whiskey Jacques’ one of Ketchum’s most beloved drinking establishments. Kristin Derrig, who managed the bar for the past 10 years, said that the plan is to try and rebuild by March, and in the meantime look for possible alternative locations to open a bar for the winter. In addition, owner Karen Martin will be holding concerts at the nexStage Theater.
