Barry David Lyons

Barry David Lyons, husband, father and hero, 62, of the Comox Valley, British Colombia, Canada, passed away peacefully Sept. 21, 2008 from a rare liver disease.

Born in England on Jan 30, 1946, Barry graduated with a master's degree in physics and engineering. He worked for Power Engineers in Hailey before moving to Canada some years ago.

Barry leaves behind his loving wife, Alison; son, Shawn and daughter Rebecca. He is also survived by his mother and two brothers in England. The family requests that everyone consider becoming an organ donor to make a difference in the world for special people like Barry.
