Hilary Hemingway shares uncles Cuban life
The fourth annual Sun Valley Ernest Hemingway Festival celebrated the notable authorÃ¢â¬â¢s life in Cuba with a film, talks by Hemingway scholars and a well-attended fiesta at the nexStage Theatre in Ketchum. The festival kicked off on Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Community School Theatre in Sun Valley with ErnestÃ¢â¬â¢s niece, Hilary Hemingway, as keynote speaker and presenter for the documentary film Ã¢â¬ÅHemingway in Cuba,Ã¢â¬Â which Hilary wrote, produced and directed for PBS. The film featured HilaryÃ¢â¬â¢s husband, Jeff Lindsay, as the on-camera narrator. The documentary explored ErnestÃ¢â¬â¢s homeÃ¢â¬âFinca VigÃÂaÃ¢â¬âhis marriages, his love for marlin fishing on his boatÃ¢â¬âÃ¢â¬ÅPilarÃ¢â¬ÂÃ¢â¬âand completing Ã¢â¬ÅThe Old Man and the Sea,Ã¢â¬Â which garnered him a Pulitzer Prize.
