Calling all green-blooded Wolverines! Homecoming is here

Big week starts Monday in Hailey


Big Green will have a week of Big Wolverine Rage when Homecoming 2008 arrives at Hailey's Wood River High School for five days from Monday through Friday, Sept. 22-26.

All green-blooded Wolverine supporters are invited to come and join the high school students in supporting athletics and having fun at the annual Homecoming celebration.

Highlight is the Homecoming football game with the Kimberly Bulldogs Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. at Phil Homer Field preceded by a 5-7 p.m. tailgate party and followed by the 10 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Neon Mania Dance at the high school.

Plenty of action is going on.

Monday, Sept. 22: "Sports Dress-up Day," and the powder puff football game—the girls from all four classes showing their gridiron stuff.

Tuesday, Sept. 23: "Duct Tape Dress-up Day."

Wednesday, Sept. 24: "Camo/Tie Dye Dress-up Day."

Thursday, Sept. 25: "1950s Dress-up Day," and the Pep Rally/Dance Off at 2:15 p.m.

Also on Thursday's menu are two soccer games, the Wood River boys' and girls' varsity teams meeting Twin Falls at 4 p.m., and the Wood River volleyball matches against Minico of Rupert starting at 5 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 26: "School Spirit Dress-up Day," and the Homecoming Parade at 3 p.m. along Hailey's Main Street. Also planned are a Most Spirit Competition and Mascot Birthday.
