Ketchum Mayor Randy Hall cuts the ribbon to show off the new sidewalk in front of nexStage Theatre in Ketchum, along with Development Director Prue Hemmings (right) and others on Sunday, Sept. 14. After more than a year in the works, nexStage Theatre, its board and major donors celebrated the theater’s independent ownership with the unveiling of the Walk of Stars. Each star embedded in the sidewalk represents one of the major donors to a capital campaign to buy the theater. Previous to the unveiling there was a reception, catered by Ciro, followed by a staged retelling of the theater’s history, from auto dealership to the town’s only performing art space.
