Police suspect alcohol or prescription drug overdose

Sun Valley police are investigating the death of a 26-year-old man early Saturday morning at the Moritz Dormitory in Sun Valley.

"We don't expect foul play, but we're waiting for the toxicology report," said Sun Valley Police Chief Cameron Daggett. "He just died in his sleep and the coroner will have to come up with a finding."

Daggett identified the man as Jacob Keating of Kenmore, Wash. He said Blaine County Coroner Russell Mikel has notified Keating's family.

Daggett said the man's girlfriend called police at 4:20 a.m. on Saturday morning.

"It appears to be an alcohol, possibly a prescription drugs combination overdose, but we don't know that for sure until we get the toxicology report back," Daggett said.
