Lorene "Lu" Ulbing

Lorene "Lu" Ulbing left us on Aug. 10, 2008. Many knew her from the picture frame shop in Hailey, Idaho.

After growing up in Gooding, she moved to California. After some time, though, she realized that Idaho was her home. She moved back and became an artist and business owner in the place she loved most.

A memorial service and ash scattering will take place Sept. 21 at 2 p.m., at the turnout before the top of Galena.

She leaves behind one son, Erich Ulbing; three brothers, Art Pierce, Dwight Pierce and Clyde Pierce; and one sister, Cora Smith. For more information or directions, please call Erich at (208) 961-0733.
